Lane County's recycling programs collected and recycled over 11,078 tons of materials in 2008.

Stretched end to end, the 1,649 tons of mattresses we've recycled would reach  over 81 miles.

In order to protect future residents of Lane County, over 125 tons of hazardous materials were diverted from the landfill for recycling or safe disposal. 

Over 20 tons of plastic film was collected at our 16 transfer stations last year.

Stretched end to end, the fluorescent lamps collected for recycling last year would span 139 miles.
