Revised CIP 11-15 Adopted by the Board
On May 12, 2010, the Board held a public hearing on the Draft Lane County Capital Improvement Program FY 2011-2015 (CIP). The Board left the hearing record open and set another public hearing for May 19, 2010. The Board adopted the Draft CIP without the proposed $1.03 million allocation on May 12, 2010.
The adopted Revised CIP will be published on this web page. Printed copies will be made available upon request.

Public Hearing Scheduled with Board
The second public hearing on the Draft CIP11-15 has been scheduled. Lane County Board of County Commissioners (Board) will hear public comments on the Draft CIP at the following location and time.

RAC Reviewed Revised Draft CIP
The January 2010 Draft CIP (previously released for public review) has been revised due to a recent change in project priorities. The January Draft CIP contains two new projects that are proposed under the Surface Transportation Program-Urban (STP-U) funding source. A recent Board of County Commissioners decision to include the Game Farm Road overlay project and Hyacinth Street Sidewalk Installation project with the STP-U application package in place of the Beaver Street Extension study necessiated this revision. The Roads Advisory Committee (RAC) reviewed this revised Draft CIP at their regular meeting on February 24, 2010 prior to the scheduled public hearing. Public Hearing Notice
The Lane County Roads Advisory Committee (RAC) will hold a public hearing on the draft Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2011-2015 (Draft CIP) at their regular meeting on February 24, 2010. The RAC released the Draft CIP in anticipation of public testimony / comment on the proposed projects. Information regarding the Draft CIP is posted on the Lane County website http://www.lanecounty.org/TransPlanning/1115CIP.htm that includes the executive summary tables, a staff memo describing the program, and project information sheets for the projects included in the draft.

Draft CIP Released for Public Review
The Lane County Roads Advisory Committee (RAC) at their January 27, 2010 meeting released the Draft Lane County Capital Improvement Program Fiscal Years 2011 thru 2015 (Draft CIP) for public review in anticipation of public comment / testimony at the Public Hearing scheduled for February 24, 2010. A separate notice will be posted on this page soon announcing the hearing date, time, location.
Links below are the released documents. The RAC Memo contains the projects included in the Draft, a brief summary of the projects, and their selection methodology. Attachment 1 to the memo is the Executive Summary and Tables showing Road Fund cost and schedule. Attachment 2 is the Prioritization Matrix tool discussed in the memo. Attachment 3 are Project Information Sheets which provide additional information such as project scope, cost, and funding details.

CIP Kickoff Meeting
Lane County Public Works Director, Engineering and Construction Service Division staff, and Transportation Planning (TP) staff discussed about FY 2011-15 CIP scope on November 13, 2009. TP staff received the general direction at the kickoff meeting, and staff has started working on a Draft CIP 2011-15. Additional information will be posted on this page when the Roads Advisory Committee releases the Draft for public review in January 2010.
